The IRON43 name comes from a radio call sign used during the founder’s Afghanistan deployment. It is part of the company’s origin, shared plainly and respectfully, not a claim of military endorsement.

Founder.
Jack Fowler brings an operational perspective to IRON43, with experience understanding both the people doing public-safety work and the technology that supports it.
Jack served as a U.S. Army Infantry Team Leader and deployed to Afghanistan. The IRON43 name comes from a radio call sign used during that deployment.
He later served in Texas law enforcement, including as an investigator with the Hartley County Sheriff’s Office and through a multi-agency task-force investigative assignment.
Jack moved into public-safety software implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, training, workflow analysis, and agency support. He has also built practical automation to reduce repetitive software-configuration work.
IRON43 was created to build practical software around how public-safety agencies actually work.
